Help Armenian Saxophonists

Armenian Saxophone Students Need Your Help

Do you have old unused saxophone equipment gathering dust?
The saxophone students at the University at Yerevan, Armenia have very
little access to the basics that we take for granted. A few months ago,
Walter Hartley put me in touch with Alexandr Manukyan, the professor of
saxophone there. He is the heartbeat of the saxophone education community
in his country, and he has students from young children to adults who are
very enthusiastic saxophonists. Alexandr has written requesting any help
possible from the saxophone community of the USA, since there are no music stores in his country, and money is very scarce. However, he does have eager, talented students who are eager to play the saxophone and its
repertoire. If any of your students have unused reeds, an old mouthpiece, or even an old student horn that you are willing to donate, these things could go to benefit saxophonists who can't get them on their own. Items can be sent registered/insured directly to Professor Manoukian at the address below.

Many thanks,
